1. Termination of participation in a conspiracy. A conspirator who withdraws from a conspiracy before it is carried out may avoid criminal liability if she discloses the conspiracy to law enforcement authorities. [1]
1. Termination of criminal activity before it is committed. A person is not liable for prosecution for the criminal activity of others with whom he is involved if, before the crime is committed, he both discontinues his participation in the crime and attempts to prevent it. [2]
