1. Damages allowed for an intermittent or occasional wrong, such as a real-property injury whose cause can be removed or abated. [1]

Damages for injury to, or trespass on, real property, otherwise known as continuing damages, awarded on the basis that the wrong is continuing in character and that successive actions may be required to make the plaintiff whole, the amount of the recovery being limited to those damages which have accrued to date of suit.  22 Am J2d Damg § 28.
