Interlocutory Order – a judicial determination found within a case that does not constitute a final resolution of the whole controversy

Definition of Interlocutory:

adj. (16c.) (Of an order, judgment, appeal, etc.) interim or temporary;
not constituting a final resolution of the whole controversy. – Also termed medial.

Definition of Interlocutor:

(16c.) Scots law. A nonfinal judicial order disposing of any part of a case.”
