To state in opposition; to put forward as an, objection<\/strong> &lt;the prosecution objected that the defendant&#8217;s discovery requests were untimely&gt;. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">2. To\u00a0<\/span><\/strong><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\"><strong>state or put forward an objection, especially to something in a judicial proceeding<\/strong> &lt;the defense objected to the testi<\/span><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">mony on the ground that it was privileged&gt;.\u00a0\u2014 <strong><span style=\"color: #800000;\">objector<\/span><\/strong>,\u00a0<em>n.<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\"><strong><span style=\"font-size: 18pt;\"><span style=\"color: #ff00ff;\">objection<\/span><span style=\"color: #000000;\">:<\/span><\/span><\/strong><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-size: 14pt; color: #000000;\"><em>n<\/em>.
