An unjustified, intentional infliction of harm on another person, resulting in damages, by one or more acts that would otherwise be lawful.\u00a0 *\u00a0 Some jurisdictions have established this tort to provide a remedy for malicious deeds \u2014 especially in business and trade contexts –\u00a0<\/span><\/strong>that are not actionable under traditional tort law. <\/span><\/strong>[1]<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
