Fiduciary Relationship<\/span><\/a> – where one person is under a duty to act with a high degree of care (the fiduciary<\/a>) for the benefit of another (the\u00a0beneficiary<\/a>) on matters\u00a0within the scope of the relationship.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Fiduciary<\/a><\/strong><\/span> – someone who owes to another the duties of good faith, loyalty, due care,\u00a0& disclosure in managing another’s\u00a0money or property.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Beneficiary<\/a><\/span> – someone who is designated to receive something as a result of a legal arrangement or\u00a0instrument.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Guardian<\/a><\/span> – someone who has the legal authority and duty to care for another’s person or property<\/a>,\u00a0especially because of the other’s infancy, incapacity, or disability.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Ward<\/a><\/span> – a person, usually a minor, who is under a guardian\u2019s charge or protection.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0Much as a parent owns and manages the estates of their children, a\u00a0guardian<\/a>\u00a0owns and manages the estate of a ward<\/a>\u00a0so as to act in the child’s best interest.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n
