Motion to Correct Inventorship<\/span>:<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

\u201c<\/strong>(1983) Patents<\/em>. A request in an interference<\/strong><\/span>
\nproceeding to add one or more unnamed co-inventors to the patent application. The<\/strong><\/span>
\nmotion will be granted unless the unnamed co-inventor acted with the intent to deceive.\u201d<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

“3.\u00a0<\/strong>Patents.\u00a0<\/em>An administrative proceeding in the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office<\/a> to determine who is entitled to the patent when two or more applicants claim the same invention, or when an application interferes with an existing patent.\u00a0 This proceeding occurs when the same invention is claims (1) in two pending applications, or (2) in one pending application and a patent issued within a year of the pending application’s filing date.<\/strong>\u00a0\u2014 Also termed\u00a0priority contest.<\/em>“<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n
