Notice:<\/span><\/span> Motion for Relief from the Judgment<\/em> serves two purposes; for that reason we have divided them up into (a) and (b).\u00a0 It is important to mention that we did this for\u00a0organizational reasons, and that our decision to divide them like this has nothing to do with anything that’s ever been established by any court.\u00a0 See<\/span>\u00a0Motion for Relief from the Judgment (b)<\/a>.<\/em><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

\n(1867)<\/span><\/p>\n

1.<\/strong> A party\u2019s request that the court correct\u00a0<\/strong>a clerical mistake in the judgment \u2013 that is, a mistake that results in the judgment\u2019s\u00a0<\/strong>incorrectly reflecting the courts intentions \u2013 or relieve the party from the judgment\u00a0<\/strong>because of such matters as<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

l.) inadvertence, surprise, or excusable neglect<\/strong><\/span>
\n 2.) newly discovered evidence that could not have been discovered through diligence\u00a0<\/strong>in time for a motion for new trial<\/strong><\/span>
\n 3.) the judgment\u2019s being the result of fraud, misrepresentation, or misconduct by the\u00a0<\/strong>other party<\/strong><\/span>
\n 4.) the judgment\u2019s being void or having been satisfied or released.<\/span> Fed. R. Civ. P. 60<\/a><\/strong>. <\/strong>[1]<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
