motion for rehearing<\/a><\/span> – request another hearing of a\u00a0case, motion, or appeal usually to consider an alleged error or omission in the courts judgment or opinion.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

motion for repleader<\/span><\/a> – an unsuccessful party\u2019s\u00a0posttrial motion asking that the pleadings<\/a> begin anew because the opponent joined the issue on an\u00a0immaterial point.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

motion for leave to appeal<\/a><\/span> – request an appellate court<\/a> review a relevant\u00a0interlocutory\u00a0order<\/a> that was found to be irrelevant & thus was not admitted within the previous court’s trial.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

application for leave to appeal<\/span><\/a> – ask an appellate court<\/a> to hear an appeal when the party has no appeal by right or when the party’s time limit for\u00a0an appeal by right has expired.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n
