Writ of Exigent<\/span>:<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cn. (15c.) Hist. A judicial writ employed into the process of\u00a0<\/strong><\/span>outlawry, commanding the sheriff to demand the defendant’s appearance, from county\u00a0<\/strong><\/span>court to county court, until he was outlawed \u2013 or, if the defendant appeared, to take him\u00a0<\/strong><\/span>before the court to answer the plaintiff’s action.<\/strong>\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n
