In federal civil procedure, the main pleadings are the<\/span> <a href=\"https:\/\/reunitethestates.org\/\/?page_id=5163\">plaintiff<\/a><span style=\"color: #000000;\">&#8216;s complaint and the<\/span> <a href=\"https:\/\/reunitethestates.org\/\/?page_id=5163\">defendant<\/a><span style=\"color: #000000;\">&#8216;s answer.\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/strong><span style=\"font-size: 14pt; color: #000000;\">[1]<\/span><\/p>\n<div class=\"text_exposed_show\">\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt; color: #000000;\"><strong>\u00a01.
