A matter of constitutional right of assembly and petition.\u00a0 The demand, made by people in assembly, of the legislative body to obtain a change in the laws, the enactment of new laws, or for anything else connected with the powers or duties of government.\u00a0<\/strong> <span style=\"color: #800000;\"><strong>16 Am. [1]<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"font-size: 24pt;\"><strong><span style=\"color: #ff00ff;\">Beyond Restitution<span style=\"color: #000000;\">:<\/span><\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\"><strong><span style=\"color: #000000;\">\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0A thoughtful, well-writte<\/span>n\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/thelawdictionary.org\/petition\/\">Petition<\/a>\u00a0<span style=\"color: #000000;\">will present a solution-oriented\u00a0\u201cList of Reasonable Demands\u201d which prevents future injury to yourself or other(s) (<em>see <a style=\"color: #000000;\" href=\"https:\/\/reunitethestates.org\/?page_id=11631\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Irreparable Injury Rule<\/a>)<\/em><\/span><\/strong><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><b>\u00a0while\u00a0<\/b><em style=\"font-weight: bold;\">also<\/em><\/span><b><span style=\"color: #000000;\"> providin<\/span>g\u00a0<\/b><a style=\"font-weight: bold;\" href=\"http:\/\/thelawdictionary.org\/relief\/\">relief<\/a><b> to the <\/b><a style=\"font-weight: bold;\" href=\"http:\/\/thelawdictionary.org\/damages\/\">injured party or parties<\/a><b>.<\/b><strong><span style=\"color: #000000;\">\u00a0 The demands ought\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"color: #000000;\">also be formulated in such a manner so as to &#8220;promote the general welfare&#8221; color: #993300;\"><strong>Formulating a\u00a0<em>List of Reasonable Demands<\/em><span style=\"color: #000000;\">:<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\"><strong style=\"font-size: 14pt;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0EXAMPLE: If a civilian were<\/span> <a href=\"https:\/\/reunitethestates.org\/\/?page_id=2043\">filming an officer<\/a><span style=\"color: #000000;\">, and the officer exceeded his authority by taking\u00a0the camcorder from the civilian, then\u00a0lied about the incident in court,\u00a0the injured party<\/span><\/strong><span style=\"color: #000000;\"> (civilian who had their<\/span> <a style=\"font-size: 14pt;\" href=\"https:\/\/reunitethestates.org\/\/?page_id=2059\">rights violated under color of law<\/a><span style=\"color: #000000;\">)\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt; color: #000000;\"><b>could seek, among their &#8220;reasonable list of demands,&#8221; both <\/b><\/span><a style=\"font-size: 14pt; color: #000000; font-weight: bold;\" href=\"https:\/\/reunitethestates.org\/?page_id=6911\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">restitution<\/a><span style=\"font-size: 14pt; color: #000000;\"><b> (monetary damages)\u00a0and\u00a0practical solutions, such as demanding &#8220;camcorders on officers, with access to footage by any civilian upon request.&#8221;\u00a0 Forms of\u00a0<\/b><\/span><em style=\"font-size: 14pt; color: #000000; font-weight: bold;\">non-monetary relief\u00a0<\/em><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><b style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">are called <a href=\"https:\/\/reunitethestates.org\/?page_id=6915\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">equitable relief<\/a>, while monetary relief is referred to as a <a href=\"https:\/\/reunitethestates.org\/?page_id=15638\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">legal remedy<\/a>.\u00a0 <\/b><\/span><span style=\"font-size: 14pt; color: #000000;\"><b>Another &#8220;demand&#8221; could include setting a more stringent screening process for officers who are getting hired, and so on.\u00a0 \u00a0<\/b><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong><span style=\"font-size: 18pt; color: #993300;\">What If the Government<br \/>\nIgnores My Petition?<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"font-size: 14pt; color: #000000;\">\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0It is at this time one may choose to file a case against the United States: the court to do this in is called the U.S. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.uscfc.uscourts.gov\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Court of Federal Claims<\/a>\u00a0\u2014 also known as &#8220;the peoples&#8217; court.&#8221;\u00a0 Hopefully it doesn&#8217;t come to this, but after all other avenues have been exhausted, its a nearly last resort.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong><span style=\"font-size: 18pt; color: #993300;\">When All Else Fails:<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"font-size: 14pt; color: #000000;\">\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0There is still a promise held within the opening paragraph of the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.archives.gov\/exhibits\/featured-documents\/emancipation-proclamation\/transcript.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Emancipation Proclamation<\/a> which guarantees a path to freedom should the government ever come to absolute tyranny while acting <a href=\"https:\/\/reunitethestates.org\/?page_id=12560\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">under color of law<\/a> in order to exact its crimes.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;
