The procedure on execution\u2014and in proceedings supplementary to and in aid of judgment or execution\u2014must accord with the procedure of the state where the court is located, but a federal statute governs to the extent it applies.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">(2)\u00a0<em>Obtaining Discovery.<\/em>\u00a0In aid of the judgment or execution, the judgment creditor or a successor in interest whose interest appears of record may obtain discovery from any person\u2014including the judgment debtor\u2014as provided in these rules or by the procedure of the state where the court is located.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">(b)\u00a0<strong>Against Certain Public Officers<\/strong>.\u00a0When a judgment has been entered against a revenue officer in the circumstances stated in\u00a028 U.S.C. \u00a72006, or against an officer of Congress in the circumstances stated in\u00a02 U.S.C. \u00a7118, the judgment must be satisfied as those statutes provide.<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>(a)\u00a0In General.
