(a) Pleadings.<\/span> Only these pleadings are allowed: <\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

(1) a complaint<\/a>;<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

(2) an answer<\/a> to a complaint;<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

(3) an answer to a counterclaim designated as a counterclaim; <\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

(4) an answer to a crossclaim;<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

(5) a third-party complaint;<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

(6) an answer to a third-party complaint; and<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

(7) if the court orders one, a reply to an answer. <\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

(b) Motions and Other Papers.<\/span><\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

(1) In General.<\/span> A request for a court order must<\/em> be made by motion. The motion must:<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

(A) be in writing unless<\/em> made during a hearing or trial;<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

(B) state with particularity the grounds for seeking the order; and <\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

(C) state the relief sought.<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n
