Control or dominion over a property without <a href=\"https:\/\/reunitethestates.org\/?page_id=15905\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">actual possession<\/a> or custody of it.\u00a0<\/strong>\u2014 aka<em><span style=\"color: #800000;\"><strong> effective possession<\/strong><\/span><\/em>.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\" align=\"CENTER\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt; color: #000000;\"><strong>2. <\/strong><em>Civil law.<\/em><strong> Possession by operation of law of an entirety by virtue of corporeal possession of a part.\u00a0 When a possessor holds title to a property and physically possesses part of it, the law will deem the possessor to hold constructive possession of the rest of the property described in the title.\u00a0<\/strong>\u2014 aka<strong><em><span style=\"color: #800000;\"> possessio fictitia<\/span><\/em>; <em><span style=\"color: #800000;\">possession in law. <\/span><\/em><\/strong><span style=\"color: #800000;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">[1]<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\" align=\"CENTER\"><strong><span style=\"font-size: 14pt; color: #000000;\">1.
