An exception to the exclusionary rule<\/a> whereby evidence obtained under a warrant later found to be invalid (especially because it is not supported by probable cause) is nonetheless admissible if the police reasonably relied on the notion that the warrant was valid.\u00a0 *\u00a0 The Supreme Court<\/a> adopted the good-faith exception in U.S. v.
