felonious homicide<\/span> –<\/strong> (18c) Homicide<\/a> committed unlawfully, without legal justification or excuse.\u00a0 *\u00a0 This is the category into which murder<\/a> and manslaughter<\/a> fall. <\/strong>[1]<\/span><\/p>\n

1. Murder<\/a>, in some one of the degrees of the offense, or manslaughter<\/a>, depending upon the presence or absence of malice, express or implied, or upon the fact that the homicide was committed by the slayer while in the perpetration of another felony. 26 Am J1st Homi \u00a7 2<\/span>.

The killing of a human creature of any age or sex, without justification or excuse.\u00a0 This may be done either by killing one\u2019s self, or another man.\u00a0 The term therefore includes self-murder, murder<\/a> and manslaughter<\/a>.<\/strong> See 4 Bl Comm 188-190<\/span>. <\/strong>[2]<\/span><\/p>\n

1. The killing of a human being without justification or excuse, that is, murder<\/a> or manslaughter<\/a>.<\/strong> [3]<\/span><\/p>\n

homicidium ex voluntate<\/span> – Voluntary or willful homicide.<\/strong> <\/span>

reckless homicide<\/span> –<\/strong> (1866) The unlawful killing of another person with conscious indifference toward that person\u2019s life. <\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

vehicular homicide<\/span> –<\/strong> (1952) The killing of a person as a result of the unlawful or negligent operation of a motor vehicle.<\/strong> \u2014 aka automobile homicide<\/strong><\/em><\/span>. [1]<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
