\u00a71344. Bank fraud<\/span><\/h3>\n

Whoever knowingly executes, or attempts to execute, a scheme or artifice-<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

(1) to defraud a financial institution; or<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

(2) to obtain any of the moneys, funds, credits, assets, securities, or other property owned by, or under the custody or control of, a financial institution, by means of false or fraudulent pretenses, representations, or promises;<\/strong> <\/span>[1]<\/span><\/p>\n

bank fraud<\/a><\/span> – knowingly attempting to execute a scheme or artifice to defraud a financial institution, or to obtain property owned by or under the custody or control of a financial institution, by false or fraudulent pretenses, representations, or promises.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n
