Someone who transfers a<\/span> negotiable instrument<\/a> by indorsement; specifically, one who signs a<\/span> negotiable instrument<\/a> other than as<\/span> maker<\/a>, drawer, or acceptor.<\/span><\/strong> \u2014 Also spelled<\/span> endorser<\/strong><\/em><\/span>.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

1. One who indorses; one who signs as an indorser; even one who signs on the face of the instrument, provided he indicates his character as an indorser in writing appearing with the signature.\u00a0<\/span> Peoples Nat.
