Types of Makers:<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

accommodation maker<\/span><\/a> – the drawer of a bill, or the maker of a note as a surety, to which he has put his name for the purpose of accommodating, by a loan of his credit, some other person who is to provide for the bill or note when it falls due.<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

prime maker<\/span><\/strong><\/a> – <\/span>the person who is primarily<\/span> liable<\/a> on a note or other<\/span> negotiable instrument<\/a>.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n
