An injury arising from the results of damage rather than from the damage itself.\u00a0 *\u00a0 A consequential injury is proximate when the natural and probable effect of the wrongful conduct, under the circumstances, is to set in operation the intervening cause from which the injury directly results.\u00a0 When the injury is not the natural and probable effect of the wrongful conduct, the injury is remote.<\/strong> \u2014 aka<\/span> indirect loss<\/em><\/strong><\/span>; consequential loss<\/strong><\/span>. <\/em>[1]<\/span><\/p>\n
